Caring for and rehoming the pets of terminally ill people in El Paso and Teller counties for over 20 years
Volunteer
Safe Place for Pets was started in 1996 and since that time we’ve been able to help over 1000 pets of terminally ill persons throughout our communities. Without the support of dedicated volunteers we would not have experienced the growth and success that we have had over the last 25 years. There are many ways for volunteers to help us continue to succeed in our mission to serve terminally ill people in El Paso and Teller counties by finding forever homes for their beloved pets. An online volunteer application is available below.
Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
