Tails to Tell: Exciting News from Safe Place for Pets
Time to kick off the 2016 Indy GIVE! Campaign!
We are thrilled to be a participant in 2016 Indy GIVE!, which is the Colorado Springs Independent's "year-end, city-wide, multimedia campaign designed to generate funds, volunteers and applause for Pikes Peak region nonprofits." The campaign, which helps us continue to find new homes for beloved pets of the terminally ill in El Paso and Teller Counties, runs November 1st through December 31st. Minimum donations are only $10, but the more you donate, the more GIVE! rewards you can earn!
Safe Place for Pets has been, and continues to be, a 100% volunteer and 100% community-funded organization. We appreciate your support and for sharing our mission with friends, family, co-workers, Facebook friends, and fellow animal lovers!
Hoodie is a handsome 5-year-old Domestic medium hair fellow with giant, all-seeing eyes. His fur coat is unusual; it’s white at the base but black at the tips, so if you ruffle it back it shimmers! Even though he is a big cat (13 lbs), he is a big
softie inside. In his pre-SP4P life, by day he was a man-about-town. He loved to be outside doing his own thing during the day, but when his Mom called “Suppertime!” he would always come running and spend the evenings happily inside where he could be admired and petted. He gets along with everyone, so a home with other cats, or maybe dogs would be OK with him. He would love to find his new forever home, so make an appointment to meet him at the Safe Place for Pets Welcome Center.
