Tatiana is a 6 year old short-haired, female calico cat who still has her claws. Tatiana likes attention, likes to be with her human companions, and likes to talk to the birds from a kitchen window. She came to Safe Place with her BFF, Natasha. Tatiana is a sweet girl ready to meet her new forever family.
Happy Spring, everyone! Tatiana here to tell you about my time at the SP4P Cattery while I, along with my sister Natasha, await a new forever home. All of the “staff” (aka cattery volunteers) here have gone above and beyond to ensure that all of us cats are comfortable, loved, and get special attention for our favorite things, be they treats, toys, brushing, ear rubs, or our favorite cat pals.
One of my favorite things is to drink fresh water right out of the faucet. When my helper arrives and lets us out of our kennels, I go straight to the kitchen sink to eagerly await that yummy fresh water.
Some of my other favorite things are Natasha (I sure hope we can stay together when we find our new forever home!), sitting in the window, and even small dogs!
Do stop in to visit all of us at the cattery - we would love to meet you and share more about ourselves with you. Who knows?! You may discover that Natasha and I (or one or two or three of our other cat friends) are just what your home is missing!
Message from the Board
Do you want to help change a life? We are seeking pet people who have room in their hearts for a pet transitioning from their home into their new forever home. Our fosters give our pets love and comfort as they adjust to their new lives.
Fosters are one of the most important roles at SP4P. Without fosters, we can not rescue and begin working to re-home any dogs, and many cats, that are eligible for our program.
Our fosters are provided with an overview of the pet, a temperament and behavior chart, and an FYI sheet for assistance with common problems/concerns. All pets are up-to-date on shots when they are placed in foster care.
Fosters are asked for updates on pet progress, pictures, and any information learned that will assist with advertising and/or proper placement in their new forever home.
Fosters are a vital link between old owner and new. Consider being the bridge for a pet today.
